  1. Turn off the television when you\u2019re not watching it. I know this sucks up the electric bill. Plus, you won\u2019t succumb to ads as easily.<\/li>\n
  2. Make your own gifts instead of buying stuff from the store.<\/li>\n
  3. Master the 30-day rule. This means that you should wait 30 days to decide on a purchase. This is a great tip. I know it\u2019ll be hard, but I\u2019m sure you\u2019ll learn to master it quickly.<\/li>\n
  4. Write a list before you go shopping \u2013 and stick to it.<\/li>\n
  5. Invite friends over instead of going out. Spending money on drinks and Uber rides can rack up. Keep that money in your pocket, baby! Invite everyone to your place instead.<\/li>\n
  6. Repair clothing instead of tossing.<\/li>\n
  7. Don\u2019t spend big money entertaining your children. Kids are relatively easy to entertain. I know you want to spoil them, but consider some other options instead.<\/li>\n
  8. Negotiate rates with your credit card company or complete a balance transfer. If you\u2019re paying high interest rates, see what you can do to get them lowered a bit.<\/li>\n
  9. Sell clothes you don\u2019t use. Clear out your closet for a bit of extra cash in your wallet.<\/li>\n
  10. Avoid eating out or fast food. Even if you choose restaurants that aren\u2019t expensive, eating out too much can make a dent in your wallet. Eating at home has financial benefits as well as health benefits.<\/li>\n
  11. Buy quality items that will last.<\/li>\n
  12. Use cash instead of your credit card. Try to stop using your credit card if you find you have trouble paying it off. Those interest rates will get you, people!<\/li>\n
  13. Do price comparisons. Find cheaper stores or get cheaper rates on products you buy all the time. That way, you can get your groceries on the cheap.<\/li>\n
  14. Avoid stress spending. Find out your triggers. Retail therapy isn\u2019t exactly saving you any money.<\/li>\n
  15. Cancel some of those unused subscriptions. How often do you use your Hulu account, really? You know the drill.<\/li>\n
