Learn how to pay for college with these tips:<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Aspire-canada Scholarship 2015<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Each academic year, Aspire-Canada offers scholarships of $1000 or more to outstanding students. Only returning students need to submit the scholarship application.\u00a0All incoming freshman student will be considered for the scholarship automatically based on a completed admissions application. The preferred deadline\u00a0for returning students is May 31st. Applications received after the preferred deadline will be considered if the funds are available. In order to assist\u00a0you with your scholarship application, please follow the checklist below.<\/p>\n<p>Complete the Scholarship Application.<br \/>\nLog on to <a href=\"https:\/\/aspire-canada.com\/online-scholarship-application\/\">aspire-canada.com<\/a> and create a profile<br \/>\nWe encourage all applicants to also create a fundraising campaign on aspire-canada.com for education costs. Site participation is a factor in scholarship awards.<br \/>\nPlease fill out a<a title=\"Applying for the Aspire-Canada Scholarship? Tips on setting up a Professional Profile\" href=\"https:\/\/aspire-canada.com\/newsletters\/applying-for-the-aspire-canada-scholarship-tips-on-setting-up-a-professional-profile\/\"> professional profile<\/a> on community.aspire-canada.com (This is Mandatory for all scholarship applicants &#8211; please upload a photo)<br \/>\nStudents need to submit a scholarship essay in order to be eligible.<\/p>\n<p>The essay should be on one of the following topics:<\/p>\n<p>Careers<\/p>\n<p>Entrepreneurship<\/p>\n<p>Health &amp; Fitness<\/p>\n<p>Fashion &amp; Beauty<\/p>\n<p>The essay should be 800 words or more (not less). The deadline to submit the essay is by May 31st 2015. The best essays will be featured on the Aspire-Canada website.<\/p>\n<p>Please Ensure you have a \u201cFully Completed Professional Profile\u201d on the Aspire-Community<br \/>\nA complete profile is an essential part of the scholarship application. Here is the Aspire-Canada definition of a 100% Complete Profile:<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Your school\/work\/industry and location<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 An up-to-date information (academic year\/major\/current employer (if applicable)<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Two past positions<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Your skills (minimum of 3)<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 A profile photo<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 At least 10 connections. Invite your friends\/colleagues\/family members to also create a professional profile on the Aspire-Community. Its easy &#8211; Just email them the link.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Important Tips:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Remember site participation is a factor!
