Our brain start racing and soon we\u2019re thinking all sorts of thoughts that have us in a tizzy. How do we fight it without using medications that have chemical ingredients that mess with our whole being? Well, first, it\u2019s going to take a lot of work. It\u2019s not going to happen over night. I like to think of it as a practice in order to stay patient with myself. Here are some ways that you can fight anxiety sans medication. Check them out below and let me know what you think in the comments section.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aspire-canada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/shutterstock_263415125.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5598\" src=\"https:\/\/aspire-canada.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/shutterstock_263415125.jpg\" alt=\"shutterstock_263415125\" width=\"650\" height=\"434\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Exercise-<\/strong> It\u2019s no secret that exercise leads to a healthy lifestyle and a happier you. So how can it lower anxiety? It reduces stress hormones and elevates your endorphins to help you feels good, making you want to take on the day with open arms. You will feel good and become healthy, it\u2019s a win-win.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Limit Social Media-<\/strong> It\u2019s okay to use social media to keep up with friends and post a picture every so often, but becoming addicted can lead to feelings of loneliness, low self-esteem, and feelings of inadequacy. It\u2019s easy to see some acquaintance\u2019s awesome European adventure and question \u201cwhy not me?\u201d before getting down on yourself, so ease yourself off Facebook and Instagram.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Acknowledge Your Anxiety- <\/strong>I have a friend who gets social anxiety. Sometimes, even leaving the house is a problem for him. In order to combat it, he simply talks himself down from it before entering a triggering situation. He tells himself that everything is actually fine. Acknowledging where your anxious feelings come from can help you to rationalize those feelings so you\u2019re able to better deal with those situations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Breathe- <\/strong>Your brain goes all over the place when you\u2019re feeling anxious. In order to calm your thoughts, one of the best things that you can do is just breathe and focus on your breath.
