I\u2019ve been doing a little soul searching lately. As we wrap up this year that seems to have been a little rougher on everyone, I\u2019ve come across a concept in Gabrielle Bernstein\u2019s new book<\/a>, \u201cThe Universe Has Your Back.\u201d In this book, she begins a section with the title, \u201cYou Are the Dreamer of Your Dream.\u201d This sentence made me stop, re-read, and reflect.<\/p>\n

\"Take<\/a><\/p>\n

Think about that concept. If you are the \u201cdreamer of your dream,\u201d that doesn\u2019t allow you to blame anyone but yourself for continuing to live a life of frustrations, setbacks, and limited beliefs. Remember back when I told you to become the president of your life<\/a>? This is no different. Simply put, if you are tired of living a life with no rewards, no big accomplishments, and no successes, it\u2019s time to take control and dream a little bigger. Because no one can do that for you.<\/p>\n

Now, whether you choose to believe that there is a greater force at work here and whether you choose to call that force the Universe, God, Source, Life, etc., I think we can all agree on one thing: there is energy at work. And that energy flows through us making and creating what we ask of it. If you only focus on good, then good will be born of it. And if all you can think about is bad, then a negative outcome will continue to be the story of your life. But at what point do we give ourselves credit for these choices? At which point do we hold ourselves responsible?<\/p>\n

Are you ready to build a bigger business, start a new adventure, or simply make a change that will make you happier? Great. But don\u2019t sit around waiting for life to happen to you. Take charge now. Dream that dream for yourself. And then put it into action. That\u2019s how a greater life is born. You have the power within you. But you have to allow yourself to freely put that into practice. No more excuses.<\/p>\n

When do we begin to understand that we dream the dreams we wish to live? As we begin to wrap up this year and look ahead to the next, I want you to ask yourself something:<\/p>\n

Are you dreaming the dream you always wanted for yourself? Or are you living in a nightmare? Do you move on with a positive mind, breaking down barriers for the future? Or will you continue to doubt yourself, keep set in your ways, and never break out of the \u201ccomfort zone\u201d you\u2019re perpetually stuck in?<\/p>\n

This is the time to make these changes for yourself. I believe that you can. I\u2019ve been in your shoes. I know what it\u2019s like to sacrifice for what you want. I know it\u2019s scary. I know it\u2019s hard sometimes. But if you really want to bring that dream to life, the time to start is now. The dream is in your hands.<\/p>\n

What are you dreaming for yourself?<\/em><\/p>\n

Before we wrap up 2016 for good, I want you to know that I wish you nothing but the best. I wish you a life bigger than you ever could have hoped for. And I wish you so much success and happiness. But, most of all, I wish you love and courage. Because with those two, you are, undoubtedly, unstoppable.<\/p>\n
