Keisha Blair has personally endured heartbreaking tragedy after the sudden and tragic loss of my husband at a very young age. She knows what it’s like to have to pick up the fragments of my life and move on, and she knows so many families are experiencing extraordinary pain right now. So many of us have also experienced gun violence – as a matter of fact too many. In the United States alone there have been 27 school shootings so far this year and it’s only halfway through the year. There have been 214 mass shootings so far this year in the United States.
We’re also still in the midst of a pandemic, and a high-inflation period, with rising gas prices, rising food prices and rising interest rates. We are also in the midst of a war with Russia invading Ukraine. The pandemic has caused us all to look more deeply at our lives to examine the direction we want our post-pandemic lives to take. Holistic Wealth as I outlined in my book and in the podcast episode also includes social justice and violence-free communities that are safe for our children. In this episode, I will walk you through effective strategies to cope with tragedy and grief.
