The 74th Golden Globe Awards kicked off awards season with a red carpet that overwhelmingly offered romance and glamour. From lace to florals and layers of ruffles, the theme seemed prevalent on every gown that graced the celebrity arrivals. From Lily Collins in a rosy Zuhair Murad number to Lola Kirke in pink and violet embroidery, romantic notions took over tonight’s fashion choices. There were, of course, classic black and edgy metallics parading their way through the tents.
