With so much variety, it was hard to pick a favorite gown. To recap, here are a few of the biggest trends that were present on the red carpet leading up to the show. Let me know what you loved in the comments!
MENSWEAR INSPIRED: The cummerbund, sleek pants, and playful bow tie all added up to a chic tuxedo inspired look for the ladies.
RED: As you can see here, red is stunning at any age.
YELLOW: This is definitely not the easiest color to pull off, nor is it the most expected. But these yellow gowns definitely made an impact on the red carpet.
METALLICS: It takes a confident woman to wear dazzling metallics such as these. Good thing these were all powerful leading ladies.
WHITE: Clean and simple – white was a dominant trend at this year’s awards show. The styles varied, but the looks were all about the purest hue.
BLUE: Another standout color on the red carpet was blue. Ranging from pastel to royal and even sophisticated navy, blue was a favorite last night.
BLUSH: Delicate blush tones hinted at spring in romantic petal-like shades.
PLUM & WINE: Inspired by deep shades of plum and wine, these ladies opted for richer hues.
